Cinema Addiction

So has anyone been living in the movie theatre like I have?

Besides that, whats ya'lls opinions on the recent box office mega hits?

Willy Wonka...hmm, didn't beat the old one in my opinion.

Dark Water ...it was good, it was a mystery and was intriguing but why the fuck is hollywood obsessed with making children little demon monster things?

Fantastic Four...I enjoyed it.

Wedding Crashers...was the BEST!

and many more....but eh...there really isn't a whole lot else to do down here in the valley now is there? Why did you leave us Emily??!! T_T

Movies are lame, I can tell you the ending for all movies yet to come !

THe good guys win, the girl gets the guy (vice versa).

The raper goes to jail, the little kid finds a new house .

Santa saves Christmas , the world blows up .

Harry Potter (book 236342) becomes an ancient wizard and becomes immortal, and marries that english chick.

You get my point, its becoming ridiculus on predicting movies now....

that's why I love movies like The Others, where you're like WTF?
& Even though a lot of movies are predictable, it's only the ending you'll be able to guess most of the time..

Besides, what was that movie with Patrick Swayze (sp? damn white names) , where they frame him into thinking that he's the terrorist and he tries to disable a bomb but it blows up LMAO...

hmm, I enjoyed the Fan Four, if you really are a fan of the original project you wouldn't be able to admit Jhonny Depp to playing the role of Wonka. Personally, no matter how in depth Roald Dahl's orignal story was I felt that I didn't need to know Wonka fully. The fact that I got to discover his history took away the whole mystery of Wonka and left little for the imagination. The Fantastic Four was a good movie, it wasn't great and it wasn't even VERY good...it was just good, if your into action with loads of help from CG.

i agree johnny depp doesnt live up the fantastic gene wilder but if you were at all familiar with the book you would know that johnny depp represented the character that was meant to be portrayed better... as did the overall movie

and please don't call yourself the corpse bride... you're not worthy of a tim burton film

I hope you don't think you're worthy of holding a Tim Burton title, besides I wasn't refering to myself as the character (If I had I would have started with The), just clever advertising on behalf of the film.

Only Tim Burton can make a film about necrophilia and people will jizz their pants, and it'll have a cult following. What a Crock of shit. I liked it better when the German Expressionists did it.

Do you always have to weasal your negative opinions on everything? It's quite obvious that you're against anything mainstream or extravagant, you positively loathe popularity and lemme guess, your favorite color is black. What is it you want to talk about? Politics, how anarchy is the only way to go? All that this post was, was a simple movie review based on one person open to other movie goers opinions. Thus, allowing people in RGV to get some idea of what movie they would want to go see. But no, now you've just turned it into some retarded way that you can crticize people for what they like.

First of all, if you want to make an intelligent and coherent point, it sure helps alot of you spell correctly. It is spelled 'weasel'.

Secondly, just because I don't share the same opinion you do makes mine less valid. Obviously you're the kind of person that can't take any criticism because it'll fuck with their world. I did give my opinion on a particular director who happens to have a movie out at the moment and thus would give the readers and alternate opinion. As per my last entry being a criticism of you, don't flatter yourself. If you read closely, there's no reference to you at all. Also, it would be good to read what you type.

You're so full of shit it's coming out of your eyes. You're not open to other movie goers' opinions. If that were the case, you wouldn't have your panties all in a twist after my comment. It's quite clear that if anyone who presents an opinion that's even slightly different from you, you write them off. So, no, you're NOT open minded and to say otherwise is just lying to yourself.

Finally, next time you try to pigeonhole someone, at least make sure you have a stereotype that closely resembles them, because otherwise it makes you look like an ignorant tool.

White Noise sucked, Dark Water, well I thought it was good, its not like 'oh shit this is fucked up' or like you're going to pee urself because its so scary, but instead its more of a solid mystery. So, if you want to go see a good story, then thats pretty good but if you want to get scared shitless its not the movie to see. Yeah, but whatever your choice still.
